The Foundation, managed by members of the Ruderman family, operates in both the United States and Israel and specializes strengthening the relationship between Israel and the American Jewish community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ruderman Family Foundation considers American Jewry a strategic asset for the State of Israel and a significant partner in the prosperity of the Jewish people as a whole. While Jews in the United States learn and hear about Israel, most Israelis are unaware of the history and current challenges of American Jews. In order to change this reality, the Foundation works proactively to strengthen the relationship between Israel and the American Jewish community by making the entire Israeli population, and especially policymakers, aware of the contributions made by American Jews to the realization of the Zionist dream since the establishment of the State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation conducts diverse programs aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two largest Jewish communities in the world. It has initiated programs in academia, brought delegations of opinion shapers to the United States, and collaborated with research institutions and other organizations.
